Assembly & RaisingThe raising of a timber frame is an exciting event to watch. In the Colonial Days in North America, barn raisings were common. Many Homesteaders put more money into their barns, than their homes. The barn was key to success of the farm. Farmers would often supply whiskey to get a crew together. The timeless structures that we build do not often go together in one day. We take more care in the finished product because people not livestock are the inhabitants. Safety and respect for the valuable investment made by our clients are our main concern. We still share the excitement of seeing the timber frame standing tall in the sunlight. |
